Wallace advise Nine Feet Tall on its sale to Talan Group

The Wallace corporate team has successfully advised the founder shareholder of Nine Feet Tall on its sale to French innovation and technology specialist, Talan Holding.

Founded by Esther McMorris, Nine Feet Tall is an award-winning programme and change management consultancy business, which has just celebrated its 20-year anniversary.  The Bath-based company specialises in delivering complex change, combining the power of people and technology with strong track record in enterprise resource planning and digital programme delivery.

Talan is an international consulting group based in Paris that specialises in innovation and transformation by technology.  It focuses on tackling challenges including the energy transition and net zero, cyber threats, the rise of A1, and the governance and regulation of big data.

Nine Feet Tall will remain an independent entity under the umbrella of Talan UK but with clear synergies between the two businesses, and a combined ambition to drive digital transformation, Nine Feet Tall is a perfect complement to the capabilities already offered by Talan in the UK.

Sarah Merriott led the Wallace team, assisted by Alice Curtis and Imogen Kelland.

I want to thank Wallace for their patience, diligence, dedication and drive to get the transaction between 9FT and Talan over the line. In difficult circumstances and with a complicated sales process, which involved multiple organisations and lawyers from both England and France, they managed the process and communications well, clearly explaining the implications and risks, giving me the confidence to make an informed decision at each step. I must also highlight the dedication of the whole team involved, and particularly Sarah and Alice, who worked late on so many evenings to make this deal happen.
