James is a consultant to our Property team specialising in all areas of construction and engineering law. He is a member of the Society of Construction Law and brings exceptional knowledge of commercial development, residential, office, retail and mixed-use construction projects to the team. 

James drafts and negotiates all forms of building and civil engineering contracts, development and funding agreements, professional appointments, collateral warranties, third party rights and related project documentation. He also advises on methods of construction procurement including strategic framework and/or other partnering strategies.

James is frequently approached for insight and comment by both clients and industry press, and is a regular speaker at prestigious industry events on the topic of construction law.
