Harriet is a Litigation Associate with a broad practice encompassing all types of general commercial and banking & financial services disputes. She acts for high net worth individuals and corporate clients across a range of sectors in respect of complex disputes, often involving cross-border issues. Harriet has particular experience of claims involving breach of warranty, shareholder disputes, joint venture disputes and civil fraud.

Harriet joined Wallace as a trainee and qualified as a solicitor in September 2021. She previously worked at a leading City firm.

 

Work Highlights

  • Acting for a highly-regarded Formula One aerodynamicist in contentious expedited High Court proceedings relating to his well-publicised move from Red Bull to Aston Martin.

  • Acting for a French construction company in a dispute arising out of a joint venture agreement with the value of approximately £4.5 million.

  • Acting for a substantial group of retail investors in the LF Woodford Equity Income Fund in claims against Hargreaves Lansdown and Link Fund Solutions valued up to £1 billion following the Fund’s high-profile suspension in June 2019 and subsequent announcement that it will be wound down.

  • Acting for the defendants to a substantial breach of warranty claim worth approximately £9 million arising out of a share purchase agreement.
