Wallace LLP, the London based commercial law firm, is delighted to announce that Frank Jennings, Partner and Head of Commercial/IT, has received the Cloud Personality of the Year Award at the recent UK Cloud Awards. Previous winners have included Melissa Di Donato of Salesforce and Doug Clark of IBM.Frank advises providers and customers on how to manage and reduce their liabilities when selling or moving to cloud solutions. He is regularly invited to speak on risk mitigation and data protection issues and has been recognised for his cloud work by independent legal directories.
Now in their fourth year the UK Cloud Awards celebrate innovation, entrepreneurialism and technical excellence in the UK cloud computing market. They are run by the Cloud Industry Forum in association with Cloud Pro.
This year the award ceremony was held at the OXO2 on London’s Southbank. It showcased the leading vendors, customers and individuals who are setting the benchmark in the UK and beyond. Hundreds of submissions were received from cloud providers, products and projects, just 21 of which walked home with prizes on the night, as decided by an expert panel of independent judges. Alex Hilton, CEO of the Cloud Industry Forum, commented: “The calibre of the entries we received this year serve as an important reminder of the dynamic and forward-looking industry we have in this country.”
