Represented a former employee in an employment tribunal claim involving a significant unlawful deduction from wages. The claim settled for a six-figure sum days before the final hearing.
Provided transactional support on a number of share and asset sales and acquisitions, including preparing due diligence reports, advising on warranties and disclosures, and dealing with potential TUPE issues.
Provided commercial solutions to a large hospitality client to address the complex legal rules relating to the calculation of holiday pay for workers with irregular hours which represents the majority of its workforce.
Supported an academy trust in relation to the exit of its CEO, which involved consideration of the ESFA regulations relating to Special Severance Pay.
