Ines is dual qualified in Austria and England & Wales. Prior to joining Wallace as senior associate in June 2022, she worked at a renowned Viennese corporate and commercial law firm for eight years where she was promoted to a junior partner.

Ines has advised clients in the financial services, industrial & manufacturing and technology sector on complex group reorganisations and acted for sellers and buyers in national and international transactions. She is also experienced in advising businesses on commercial agreements including the sale and distribution of goods and services, intellectual property licensing as well as joint ventures.

Since joining Wallace, she has worked on a diverse array of commercial, corporate and compliance projects, often involving cross-border elements.

 

Work Highlights

  • Advising VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP AG Wiener Versicherung Gruppe, one of the leading insurance groups in Europe, on a multi-stage reorganisation including several mergers, acquisitions, and spin-offs, to become the largest life insurer in Austria.  

  • Acted for the shareholders of the Austrian digital marketing company Grassfish Marketing Technologies on the share sale to Swedish Vertiseit AB.

  • Advising a publicly traded US corporation on its acquisition of a distressed Austrian pharmaceutical company and continued support post completion in all commercial and corporate matters.

  • Advising a UK educational software services provider on the commercial aspects of an asset deal where the UK educational software services provider purchased software and licensed it back to the seller to use after completion.

  • Conducting a GDPR audit for the Efficio group of companies, including advising on agreements implementing standard contractual clauses for international data transfers between the UK group entities and its offices in Europe on the one hand and the group entities located outside the UK/EEA on the other hand.

  • Advising a number of digital market agencies with regard to contractual relationships with their clients.
