Andrew's practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, and he has particular experience of matters involving the financial services sector. Andrew regularly advises on claims involving allegations of fraud or other alleged wrongdoing, and which are cross-border in nature.
Andrew also has experience of advising corporates in relation to compliance and governance issues such as anti-money laundering, corruption, and financial sanctions.
Andrew joined Wallace in 2023, having spent over 6 years at a leading international law firm, prior to which he practised at the self-employed Bar.
WORK HIGHLIGHTS
Representing a UK asset manager in defence of high value bribery claims brought by a Middle Eastern investor in the Commercial Court.
Acting for an Irish alternative investment fund in connection with proceedings in the Commercial Court to recover misappropriated assets, including obtaining a worldwide freezing order.
Advising a litigation funder in Commercial Court proceedings in relation to a disputed loan agreement.
Advising in relation to various post-acquisition disputes such as misrepresentation claims, breach of warranty and indemnity claims, and earn-out disputes.
Acting for a high-net-worth individual in defence of a private prosecution in respect of an allegation of fraud.
