Wallace Advises the Founders of Lumin Wealth on Becoming Part of the VZ Group

The Wallace corporate team has successfully advised the founders and shareholders of Lumin on the inward investment by Switzerland’s VZ Group.

Lumin is a financial adviser and investment management firm founded by Martin Cotter and John Cusins with offices in St Albans and London. Following a decade of sustained growth, Lumin today has assets under management of £600 million with over 40 employees and has been recognised for the last three years by the FT awarding Lumin “top 100 firm in the UK” status.

VZ is a Swiss financial services provider headquartered in Zurich and listed on the Swiss exchange. Lumin’s tie up with VZ represents VZ’s first entry into the UK financial advice market.

With access to additional resources from the new relationship with VZ, Lumin is looking to develop and enhance its client offering while also seeking to grow organically and by acquisition.

Co-founder, John Cusins, commented:

“Having worked with John Woodhouse and Wallace for many years it was a simple decision to ask them to represent Lumin on this seminal transaction. The entire process from start to finish was executed to a very high standard by John and his team.”

The Wallace team comprised of corporate partner John Woodhouse, Associate Sabrina Mitchell and paralegal Imogen Kelland.

VZ was represented by Field Fisher.
