Graeme Kirk has been recognised as one of the leading UK immigration lawyers for many years in the Legal 500, Chambers, and International Who’s Who of Corporate Immigration Lawyers.
He has specialised in business immigration law since 1981, founding and developing his immigration practice, primarily through recommendations from clients and other professionals, including UK solicitors and overseas lawyers.
Since 1981, he has acted for clients from all over the world, and his current client list includes international banks, substantial British and foreign corporations, as well as smaller companies and entrepreneurs. He acts as consultant in immigration law to a number of firms of UK solicitors and foreign lawyers.
He deals with all aspects of business immigration, including applications for entrepreneurs and investors, sole representatives, and related family applications. He also provides advice to companies wishing to obtain a sponsors Licence from UK Visas & Immigration to employ foreign nationals.
He was chairman of the Immigration and Nationality Law Committee of the International Bar Association from 2000-2004 and Co-Chair of the IBA Global Employment Institute from 2016-2017. He has spoken at conferences and seminars in the UK and all over the world and has acted as co-chair of the IBA Global Immigration Conference in London held every two years since 2003. He is a Trustee of the IBA HRI Trust.
